'We are only hurting ourselves' Falz warns against the attacks on MTN,Shoprite and other South-African-owned Companies in Nigeria



Popular Nigerian Artist, Falana Folarin, aka Falz The Bahd Guy, has called on Nigerians to stop all the motives of destroying popular South African owned companies such as MTN, Shoprite and the likes due to the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians living in South Africa

Falz also called on the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to provide quick solution to the Xenophobic attack on Nigerians living in South Africa. He said, in his comment to a statement made by Osinbajo on his Twitter page condemning the attacks on Nigerians and other nationals in South Africa, that he(Osinbajo) should reveal the actions taken by the Nigerian Government so that Nigerians will stop the attacks on South African owned companies.

Meanwhile, there have been reports of looting going on in several places where angry mob decide to retaliate by breaking into outlets of South African owned companies in Lagos and Ibadan

There are also attacks on MTN outlets which make them close down their main outlets in Lagos

''This is a very difficult time for everyone but violence is never the answer.''


“Attacking people or vandalizing businesses in Nigeria will not solve the problem, but will rather make things worse.''


“We are hurting our own selves! Please,” Falz added.
